FAQ

Do you accept custom work?

Yes! On a limited basis. Message me or send me an email to inquire on if/when I can work with you on a custom piece. Please feel free to visit the "customs" page for more info.

Do you accept payment plans?

Yes, I accept Shop Pay, After Pay, and Sezzle (for those in Canada). These services offer customers the option to split their purchase into four equal, interest-free installment payments for orders between 50 and 3,000 USD with Shop Pay, and no minimum with After Pay. There are no additional charges, interest rates, or late fees passed on to customers for these orders. You can choose between these services at checkout.

Shipping Policy

The time I need to prepare an order for shipping varies. Ready to ship items ship within 2-3 business days. Made to order can be up to 6 weeks. If this is a custom order, the time greatly varies depending on the piece. I will discuss this with you if I am working on something custom with you. Note that I am not responsible if an item gets lost in the mail or stolen, or if I am given an incorrect address. The buyer is responsible at checkout to make sure that the address is correct. Please contact me if you are interested in purchasing full coverage insurance for your package. (Orders over $100 have full coverage insurance.)

Postage prices are calculated upon checkout and also vary based on the chosen rate and destination.

What if I have a problem with my order or it arrives damaged?

Unfortunately no matter how well something is packaged, it can possibly get damaged during delivery. I am willing to discuss several solutions such as repair, and you are also able to file a claim with USPS. Orders over $100 have full coverage insurance.

Packaging

I do my best to always be conscious of how I can contribute less waste when shipping out your orders. I have several sources (family, friends, local businesses) who give me boxes, paper, bubble wrap, biodegradable peanuts, etc, to be re-used instead of thrown away. I inspect each box, packing material, etc, to make sure it’s still in a very good condition when re-using. If not, I shred it down to create packing material.

Is everything handmade?

All of my items are handmade and slow-made. There may be small imperfections due to the handmade nature of my work. Each piece of my artwork is carefully cut, painted or wood burned by hand. This is a traditional artform and the time it takes to craft each individual piece reflects that. Everything in my shop is unique and one of a kind, besides the few times I decide to open pre-orders to create multiple of a piece. These too slightly differ due to the handmade nature of the pieces. Almost all wood I use is upcycled, and I also collect recently fallen wood myself to use for portal towers.

Do you ship world-wide?

Yes, with the exception of New Zealand. But PLEASE make sure your country can receive your order. Some countries do not accept foreign plant materials through customs. Wood usually counts as plant materials. (New Zealand is a country I have had no luck shipping to) Please familiarize yourself with what customs accepts in your country.

Buyers are responsible for any customs and import taxes that may apply. I'm not responsible for delays due to customs.

General

When buying an art piece from me you are purchasing a handmade item. This means that some pieces may have small irregularities so please take this into consideration. My wood is cut by hand and also wood burned and painted by hand.

Due to the handmade nature of my work, my shop is not stocked at all times. If there are no pieces available on my website, this is because I am entirely sold out. I put great care and attention into each piece. Thank you for being patient with me and for supporting traditional artists!
